INSIDE YOUR FIST

What’s inside your fist?
What are you holding?
Why are you hiding your hand?

We are not meant to be weeping.
We are meant to shine
as stars that never die.

Try to see my point
I know where you are standing
Each one has unique challenges
We have to see the background.

We are not meant to disappear
as sand taken to the desert.
We are meant to create our worlds
made of feats and glory.

Heroes are everywhere.
Each one of us was given a chance.
We can rebuild ourselves.

Give me your hand
Release the past
Let’s walk together.
